Energy Crisis Assistance Program (ECAP) – Enrollment Opens Tuesday, April 14, 2026 

Oklahoma Human Services will start accepting online applications for the Energy Crisis Assistance Program (ECAP) at www.okhslive.org This program authorizes households for a one-time payment for the minimum amount required to resolve the crisis (capped at $750).

Low-Income Household Electric Assistance Program (LIHEAP) –  Enrollment Opens Tuesday, July 14, 2026

The Low-Income Household Electric Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a 100 percent federally funded program to assist low-income households paying a high portion of their income for electric services. The application process is available online at www.okhslive.org

Winter Heating General Enrollment Opens Tuesday, January 6, 2026  Closes Saturday, January 10, 2026 @ 12:00am

You can apply online at www.okhslive.org during open enrollment period. 

The energy assistance program's funding is contingent on the receipt of federal funds. Authorized amounts vary from year to year. Please be aware that several factors can cause delays in open enrollment. Please contact your case worker with any questions.
